The trip lasts approximately 7 minutes and departures every 2 hours. The cost of the ticket is between €1 and €2. This is a quick and economical option if you do not have a car.

By Car: If you opt for the car, you'll find that there is a parking lot close to the beach, although in summer it can fill up quickly. I recommend arriving early or, if you prefer to avoid searching for parking, consider other transportation options.

By bicycle: It is possible to rent a bike in Lagos and cycle to the beach. It is an environmentally friendly option and gives you the freedom to explore at your own pace.

Paddle Surf rental: Next to the Nauticus restaurant, you will find a store where you can rent paddle surf equipment in Praia Dona Ana. By 30 euros per person. The board and a waterproof bag are provided so you can store your belongings safely while you are in the water. The duration is 2 hours.

My experience at Praia de Dona Ana

During my stay in Lagos I visited Praia Dona Ana frequently. Mostly I would go paddle surfing and snorkeling with the people I knew. The only bad thing about the beach is the amount of tourists. It is a very popular beach because it is one of the best in Lagos, but it is worth the visit. It is the starting point of the route to Ponta da Piedade and the surrounding caves and grottos are incredible.
