The waterfalls of Pallewela are located at Shenear the Ravana waterfalls. We saw them by chance, since our goal was to reach a different waterfall. Once there we decided to stay because it seemed to us a discovery, these waterfalls are amazing and little known.
How to get to Pallewela waterfalls
The entrance to Pallewela Falls is located in Ella, do not confuse it with the town of Pallewela.
In the middle of the road you will see the sign that appears in the following image, which shows the direction you must follow until you reach the waterfalls. You can go by Tuk Tuk or rent one and go from Ella on your own and park right next to the road, you won't have any problems. Once in Pallewela you will only have to walk a few meters until you reach the entrance.

Entrance to Pallewela Waterfalls and Activities
To access the Pallewela waterfalls you will have to buy the ticket from this lady that you can see in the image for about 300LKR (approximately 1 euro). The entrance is managed by this local family who is responsible for keeping the path to the waterfall in good condition.
In addition, that same family organizes rappelling activities down the waterfall. We didn't have time since we arrived quite late, but it looked good.
The path to the waterfall is quite simple, avoiding the last section where the slope is steeper. In any case you would not regret coming to these waterfalls, almost no one knows about them because they are not that famous, but in my ranking I would put them in second place after the Diyaluma waterfalls.
My experience at Pallewela waterfalls
My experience at the Pallewela waterfalls was incredible, we were lucky to have enough time to explore all the waterfalls that were there. At first we thought it was only one, but it turns out that it is made up of 3 waterfalls. The largest is at the end and in all of them there is space to bathe.
My friend Mónica and I decided to climb the latter and we almost didn't mention it, but in general we enjoyed it like children.
